  Grant Thornton member firms raised CA $69,000 for charity in an auction at the annual Grant Thornton International conference held in Toronto, Canada this October (2007).

Six partners and 80 employees from Moores Rowland, Hong Kong member of Moores Rowland International, have joined Grant Thornton Hong Kong, a member firm of Grant Thornton International. This will result in the Grant Thornton member firm in Hong Kong having 21 partners and 480 employees

  David McDonnell, chief executive officer of Grant Thornton International today announced the merger between Grant Thornton's Irish member firm and RSM Robson Rhodes in Ireland, which follows on from the merger of Grant Thornton UK LLP and the UK division of RSM Robson Rhodes LLP.
